On-site registration will be available at the GRB

Friday prayer will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center, in Hall C, at 1:30 pm.

Here is some important information:

  • The official hashtag for the convention and carnival is #TDC17. Please join our online social media community on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to share your experience.
  • Make sure you like our Facebook page (https://facebook.com/goingtotdc/) to have access to all of our videos and audio recordings of the lectures (and future promos 🙂 ).
  • The carnival starts on Friday the 29th at 2 pm and ends at 10:00 pm.
  • The convention’s program starts on Saturday the 30th at 10 am and ends on Sunday at 10 pm. You can find the schedule here www.goingtotdc.com/schedule
  • The convention and carnival are taking place at the George R Brown Convention Center. Here is the address: 1001 Avenida De Las Americas, Houston, TX 77010 (Google Maps).
  • The carnival is taking place on the first floor of the convention center, specifically in Hall C.
  • The convention is taking place on the third floor of the convention center.
  • The most economical parking option is right across the street from the Convention Center in the parking garage of Discovery Green located at 1002 Avenidas de las Americas, Houston, TX 77002 (Google Maps).   • During the convention and the carnival, we will have two halal food vendors to sell you lunch and dinner for your convenience.

TDC Price Schedule

This is for those registering for both, the convention and the carnival. The carnival will take place on Friday the 29th of December from 2 to 10 pm (after Friday prayer which will take place at the GRB), and the convention will start on the Saturday the 30th at 10 and will finish on the 31st at 10 pm.  The pricing for this package is as follows:

  • Registration for 1 person is $50.00
  • Registration for 2 persons is $95.00 total
  • Registration for 3 persons is $140.00 total
  • Registration for 4 persons is $185.00 total
  • Registration for Families of 5, 6 or 7 persons is $200.00/family
  • Registration for Families of 8 or 9 persons is $240.00/family

This is for those registering for only the convention and does not include admissions to the carnival. The convention will start on the Saturday the 30th at 10 and will finish on the 31st at 10 pm.  The pricing for this package is as follows:

  • Registration for 1 person is $35.00
  • Registration for 2 persons is $65.00 total
  • Registration for 3 persons is $90.00 total
  • Registration for 4 persons is $115.00 total
  • Registration for Families of 5, 6 or 7 persons is $125/family
  • Registration for Families of 8 or 9 persons is $150/family

This is for those registering for only the carnival and does not include admissions to the convention. The carnival will take place on Friday the 29th of December from 2 to 10 pm (after Friday prayer which will take place at the GRB). The cost per person is $25.
